Apprentice Property Maintenance Operative – Customer only Based at our regional office in Maryport, with set days out in the community and to attend college Pay, £21,216 (under 20) - £24,853 (21 and over) Hours, 37.5 hours per week 24 months fixed term, with opportunities to progress Home, a place where you belong At Home Group, we believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home, and a great place to build their career. About the role You’ll be a valued member of the team, learning by doing and supporting colleagues with meaningful, hands-on work. You’ll be trusted with real responsibilities while being fully supported as you develop your skills and confidence. You’ll learn how to: Carry out a range of routine repairs and maintenance tasks in homes Develop practical skills using tools, materials and equipment safely and correctly Work safely, following health and safety and safe systems of work Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues through clear, respectful communication Grow your knowledge of property maintenance, building construction and repair techniques while learning on the job. What qualification will you gain? Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative apprenticeship, delivered by Lakes College You’ll combine on-the-job learning with structured study, building skills and confidence that will support your long-term career.
