It helps teams handle incidents, service requests, and changes efficiently through a single system. Apprentices will gain hands‑on exposure to enterprise IT service management tools   About the Role It is a Development apprenticeship for Pearson’s service now team which will allow you to gain experience in ITSM and other major modules of Service now; Familiarity with ServiceNow best practices, administration and development   Key Responsibilities   * Design, develop, test, and maintain workflows/flows inside Service now * Translate business requirements into technical solutions * Collaborate with team members and follow coding standards * Working on enabling and exploring AI features inside service now and working on AI agents * Engage in development activities across areas such as CMDB/Configuration Management, Automated Discovery, Service Mapping, ITSM, Hardware and Software Asset Management, platform configuration, and related domains.   Desirable Skills and Attributes * Working proficiency with JavaScript * Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and operations * Familiarity with Agile Development methodology   Eligibility Criteria * Bachelor’s degree in bachelor’s or master’s degree programs in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Data Science. * Recent graduates or candidates with less than one year of experience are encouraged to apply. * Must meet requirements under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and be registered on the NATS portal. * Must be legally eligible to work in India. Experience You Will Gain * Working on business analysis, process & workflow optimization * Familiarity with ServiceNow best practices, administration, and development * Agile Development methodology and lifecycle (Request to Design to Development to Testing to Deployment) * Development experience in areas such as CMDB/Configuration Management, Automated Discovery, Service Mapping, ITSM,Hardware & Software Asset Management, general platform configuration, and more * Working on AI features in Service now like AI agents,Now Assist and other features   Work Schedule This is a full-time apprenticeship from Monday to Friday, approximately 40 hours per week. Some flexibility may be required to support meetings with global teams in different time zones.
