Join our team at Founders House Lifehouse located in Whitechapel is looking to recruit a motivated, passionate, and dynamic Apprentice Support Worker to join our Homelessness Service Team.
We provide residential supported accommodation for up to 123 adult males who are experiencing homelessness, supporting them on their individual journeys from the street to their own home.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Apprentice Support Worker you will work towards Adult Care Worker Level 3 standards and will learn to develop and deliver a high-quality person-centred programme of support, promoting client’s strengths, independence, and choice. You will learn the necessary skills to address client support needs, enable them to achieve positive life changes and ultimately empower them to lead fulfilling lives. The role includes meeting with clients on a one-to-one basis, working alongside clients to address emotional and psychological trauma, substance misuse, mental health, physical health, and wellbeing. This will include writing and updating support plans and risk assessments, managing the reception area, and dealing with queries both face to face and over the phone.
