We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy Fakenham workshop as an HGV Technician Apprentice. This is a fantastic career opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading independent haulage companies.

As an apprentice, you will receive a blend of hands-on experience and formal training through our nominated training provider. You will gain expertise in core mechanical skills and workshop operations including, but not limited to:

• Examination of vehicle and machine systems.
• Periodic servicing of vehicles and machines.
• Replacement and replenishment of components and units.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults in vehicles and systems.
• Evaluate the information and data interpretation of technical information.
• Correct use of workshop tools and equipment.
• To work within the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act.

We want someone who is eager to learn, reliable, and passionate about the motor trade, particularly HGVs. Ideal candidates will have:

• A can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good mechanical interest and basic technical understanding.
• Confidence and strong interpersonal skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work methodically

On completion of the apprenticeship, you will be a qualified HGV Technician who will be eligible to apply for registration as an Engineering Technician with the relevant professional body.
