Job Summary: We are currently recruiting for an Apprentice Vehicle Panel Beater to join our Bodyshop team. This role will operate from our Douglas Road dealership and is offered on a 4-day work week.

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To: As an Apprentice Vehicle Panel Beater, your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Dismantling and assessing vehicles to identify and remove damaged components
  • Preparing vehicles for the repair process with precision and attention to detail
  • Performing high-quality repairs that meet or exceed industry standards
  • Adhering to established Job Card procedures to ensure efficient and accurate work
  • Proactively communicating potential issues or challenges to the Manager/Supervisor in advance
  • Maintaining strict compliance with all safety protocols and best practices in the workplace

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Desire to Learn: A strong desire to continually train and develop your skills.
  • Team Player: An organized, flexible team player with excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and customers.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Safety Standards: Experience in working to high standards of Health and Safety procedures.
  • Driver’s License: A full clean driver’s license is required.
  • Language Skills: Fluent English.
  • Motivation: Highly motivated to learn and work to high standards.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a high standard of personal presentation.
