We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, punctual individual to join our team and embark on a long term career, with excellent earning and progression opportunities once you complete your apprenticeship.
As an independent motor vehicle repair garage, every day is different. You will be gaining experience across most common vehicle manufacturers, carrying out all manner of tasks, right from routine servicing, to fault diagnosis & everything inbetween.
Some of your duties will include:
· Use of diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults.
· Following checklists to ensure all critical parts of vehicles are examined.
· Carrying out inspections & servicing.
· Replacing tyres, wheel balancing & wheel alignment.
· Completion of legible and accurate paperwork for our records.
· Maintenance of a clean and tidy work environment.
You will be working with a small, friendly team who will all help to give guidance & knowledge to build your skills and progress your career within our industry. Your dedicated mentor will support your continued learning as you apply the skills and knowledge you have gained.
This is a fully rounded training experience where you will build life skills that last and gain your apprenticeship qualifications.
There will be additional opportunities to gain further qualifications throughout your employment.
On successful completion of this apprenticeship, you will gain:
Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Progression & continuation to Level 3 apprenticeship standard in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
DESIRED SKILLS
We are looking for someone who is passionate about motor vehicles, motorsport, mechanical engineering or all of these!
Your skills should include:
· Logic and problem solving abilities.

· Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
· Ability to work as part of a team.
· Strong communication.
· Customer Service.
· Interest in vehicles.
You will be provided with a basic selection of tools upon starting your apprenticeship with us. This is not for you to keep & you will be expected to build up your own tools over the duration (& beyond) of your apprenticeship.
Your employment is subject to a standard three month probationary period. This may be extended if necessary.
