JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an apprentice Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and welding various metal components according to specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a good work ethic, as well as proficiency in using power tools and welding equipment. The Welder will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes. The candidate will also perform other duties such as powder coating for 2 days a week.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven ability to learn as a Welder or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using various power tools related to welding and fabrication processes is required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Should be a first year or second year apprentice.
  • Ability to listen to and learn from a Journeyman welder is essential.

    Pay: $22.00-$34.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, and welding materials according to project specifications.
  • Assemble parts and structures using various welding techniques, ensuring strong and durable joints.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Operate power tools and machinery, including press brake machines, to assist in the fabrication process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while meeting quality standards.
