We have a great opportunity to join our client, a well-established, training provider based in Hull but working across Lincolnshire and East Riding, providing apprenticeship and traineeship programmes.
You must be confident in speaking with clients and establishing strong relationships.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Experience of effective engagement with employers and learners
· Level 4 Information Advice and Guidance qualification, or willing to work towards
· Experience of successfully achieving targets, together with the ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, take responsibility, use initiative and be proactive, incorporating flexibility when required
· Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, to produce internal and external reports;
· Excellent organisational skills
· Excellent presentation skills, including use of PowerPoint

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The purpose of the role is to coordinate placements for Traineeships and Apprenticeships.

JOB DUTIES:

· Engage with target employed and unemployed young people and adults for relevant learning programmes
· Engagement with employers to ensure sufficient work experience placements are generated and learners are correctly placed for the traineeship programme, within required timeframes
· Undertake effective and efficient initial assessment of learner applicants
· Engagement with employers to develop opportunities for their existing staff to apprenticeships, and recruitment of new apprenticeship vacancies;
· Achievement of targets in relation to learner starts on programmes;
· Engage with a range of employers for the recruitment of apprentices, development of work experience vacancies and potential progression opportunities for traineeship programmes
· Assess employer environments to ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, programme and funding requirements
· Associate all learners to relevant work experience placements, ensuring the needs of learners and employers are met, for the traineeship programme, within required timeframes
· Match appropriate applicants to apprenticeship vacancies
· Develop effective working relationships with employers, ensuring opportunities for learner progression are maximised and employers remain engaged with programmes
· Liaise with external partner organisations to support programme delivery and learner engagement, achievement and progression
· Maintain learner and employer records
· Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant funding requirements
