JOB SUMMARY Canary Wharf Group’s Apprenticeship Programme is a great alternative to access further education after GCSEs/A Levels. All apprentices will be completing a recognised qualification at a designated training provider, college, or university one-day a week. The remainder of the week will be working within departments contributing to team goals. Apprentices are paid London Living Wage (£30,784 based on a 40-hour week). MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Electrical Engineering - Level 3 The role of the Installation and maintenance electrician apprentice is to install, maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems in industrial, commercial and residential environments. To undertake prescribed maintenance tasks under supervision as directed by the Building Services Manager or Engineering Supervisor. This apprentice will complete Level 3 installation and maintenance electrician qualification; the duration of the course is approx. 48 months. The course will include health and safety, technical information for electrical work and knowledge on tools, materials, equipment, and components. Apprentices Assistant Project Manager - Level 4 The role of the Assistant Project Manager apprentice is to assist the Project Manager in retail project management duties including: Facilitate and attend tenant viewings and contractor surveys, produce schedule of condition reports and Assist with processing of technical queries and requests for information raised by contractors. This apprentice will complete Level 4 Associate Project Management qualification; the duration of the course is approx. 18 months. PERSON SPECIFICATION GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Interest in retail property, construction, or project management. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting. Good communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with contractors, tenants, and internal teams. Proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
