  • Proven Sales Leadership: You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience leading sales, business development, or account management teams, ideally within apprenticeships or work-based learning.
  • Apprenticeship Knowledge: Strong understanding of apprenticeship funding, compliance, and quality requirements.
  • Relationship Builder: Ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships with employers and stakeholders.
  • Target-Driven: Experience of delivering against stretching performance targets and KPIs.
  • Organised & Analytical: Confident managing CRM systems and reporting on performance to drive business decisions.
  • Qualification: Level 5 (or higher) business-related qualification.
  • Enhanced DBS: Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of apprenticeship sales and account managers to achieve business growth targets.
  • Business Development: Identify and secure new employer partnerships aligned with our apprenticeship growth strategy.
  • Partnership Building: Cultivate strong relationships with employers, industry stakeholders, and internal teams to drive apprenticeship starts.
  • Operational Oversight: Work closely with the Apprenticeship Delivery Manager and Education & Training leaders to implement new apprenticeship standards and mobilise new programmes.
  • Performance Management: Monitor, coach, and develop your team to deliver against ambitious targets, ensuring compliance and high-quality delivery.
  • Quality & Compliance: Work collaboratively with the Quality and Compliance team to uphold apprenticeship regulations, safeguarding, and best practice
