About the Role The overall purpose of the Apprenticeship / Traineeship Support Officer is to provide administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the Apprenticeship / Traineeship Support Unit. The incumbent will perform a range of administrative tasks to ensure an effective and efficient service is provided to apprentices, trainees, teaching departments, employers and other relevant external stakeholders. Location: Sunshine Campus, Sunshine Contract type: Continuing, Full-Time (36.75 hours per week) Classification and Salary: HEP 5 - $76,459 - $87,825 (per annum) plus 17% Superannuation Position Description: Apprenticeship/Traineeship Support Officer Key Duties Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Performing a range of administrative functions related to apprentices and trainees Building and maintaining strong relationships with employers Actively contributing to the Apprenticeship/Traineeship Support Unit’s work efforts to help ensure the achievement of key performance indicators Working collaboratively in a customer-focused team, supporting employers, apprentices, and trainees throughout their journey with Victoria University TAFE As the successful candidate, you will Have strong knowledge and experience in apprenticeships and traineeships Bring expertise in the administration of apprenticeships and traineeships within an educational environment, along with strong customer service skills Be responsive to customer needs and ensure compliance with operational and regulatory requirements throughout the apprentice and trainee lifecycle Be able to work in a fast paced setting How to Apply Applications must be submitted as a single document comprising: A cover letter Your curriculum vitae/resume Your responses addressing all selection criteria located in the position description Application Closing Date: Thursday 30th October 2025, 5:00pm AEST.
