We are looking for a Tutor to deliver the Payroll apprenticeship up to Level 5 to support our client. You will help apprentices master payroll operations, compliance, pensions, reporting, and the leadership skills needed to manage payroll services.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Strong industry experience in payroll management or senior practitioner roles.
• Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation, HMRC compliance, pensions, and payroll systems.
• Teaching or training qualification, or willingness to achieve one.
• Experience supporting learners at Level 5 is desirable.

• Teach and assess apprentices in payroll principles, systems, and compliance.
• Develop individual learning plans and deliver coaching to support progression to Level 5 and EPA readiness.
• Keep learners up to date with HMRC rules, pensions, and payroll systems.
• Embed functional skills and employability competencies where required.
• Liaise with employers to ensure learning reflects workplace systems and standards.
