Job Description Perform tasks as instructed by the site supervisor Carry out inspection and testing of electrical installations in line with current regulations. Installation of tray work, conduit, trunking Installation of SWA type cabling at various sizes Installation of distribution boards Electrical installation in Industrial Environments Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works as required. Interpret electrical drawings, schematics and specifications. Ensure all installations comply with BS7671 Wiring Regulations. Take responsibility for the quality and compliance of one's own work. Liaise with supervisors, engineers and clients regarding technical matters. Support and guide less experienced electricians and labourers on site. Ensure all test equipment is calibrated and used correctly. Record and maintain accurate documentation of work completed. Identify and report any non-compliance or safety concerns. Ensure quality standards are met. Comply with all site rules, PPE requirements and H&S regulations. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications/Experience: Qualified Electrician C&G/Apprenticeship/AM2 or Equivalent C&G 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Inspection & Testing C&G 2391 or Equivalent CCNSG Desirable Qualifications/Experience: Excellent communication skills Ability to communicate with Clients at all levels Ability to travel at short notice, including long distances Team player Willing to work overtime when required, including working away from home Monday - Friday Awareness of H+S regulations on site Additional Information Working away from home is expected around 80% of the year.
