This position will provide primary care services to families with behavioral health disorders in our primary care clinic and our in-patient facility.  Will work collaboratively with the Program Director to provide health and wellness education and care management. Will work with psychiatric providers to integrate primary and behavioral health care needs. Position requires a Master’s Degree in Nursing; must have graduated from an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program. Must establish protocols with supervising physician and submit protocols to (with) the Board of Nursing.   General Expectations: In the performance of their respective task and duties, all employees are expected to conform to the following: 1. Ability to report to work with good personal hygiene Essential Duties/Requirements/Activities: * Provide physical examinations and order lab work as required. * Provides pharmacological management. * Performs diagnostic evaluations according to licensure. * Participates in peer review. * Member of Medical Staff Panel * Ability to arrive to work and ready to work on time. * Ability to abide by principles of EEO compliance and a workplace of dignity and respect. * Ability to work cooperatively in a group and/or team setting. * Ability to show respect to all others. * Ability to professionally communicate with other employees and outside vendors, as required. * Ability to take guidance and direction from supervisors * Comply with all Center policies and procedures except those for which the employee gives notice of the need for reasonable accommodation and for which the Center can make such reasonable accommodation. * Attends all scheduled work hours, meeting, training, and other center functions, including on-call as required * Must be able to react to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned Qualifications:   Education: Requires a Master’s Degree in Nursing and have graduated from an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program.  Requires certification in Family Practice or comparable area.  Additional certification in Psychiatric care preferred but not required.   Experience: Evidence of clinical experience & competency as evidenced by no issues with license through DOH and three letters of recommendation.  1 year experience preferred but not required.   Certifications: * Florida License as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. * Must meet all requirements for credentialing within the agency. * Must complete process for protocols with supervising physician to be filed with the Board of Nursing.   Training: 20 hours professional enhancement training annually including all PRC required, inclusive of Nursing Contact Hours as required for licensure in the State of Florida: Biennium  24 Contact Hours including (2) hours of Prevention of Medical Errors. (CEUs): 2 hours in domestic violence every 6 years and 1 in AIDs, a one time requirement.         . This is necessary to access our payroll and communication system, Paycor, and Microsoft email as examples.  This will ensure secure and efficient communication with the organization.   Supervisory Relationship(s)             Reports to the Medical Director             Supervises: none   Work Environment: Fast paced work environment. The populations cared for will include patients who are confused, delusional, irrational, agitated, or uncooperative. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  Must understand and accept the possibility of exposure to inside environmental conditions such as communicable diseases and physical/verbal abuse from an out of control patient/client.
