Description:
Contract until 20 October 2020 with possible extension | APS 5 = $45.74; APS 6 = $51.50 plus 9.5% Superannuation | Geelong, VIC or Maroochydore, QLD Location
Our Federal Government client is seeking and APS 5 and APS 6 Sourcing Officers to support the team with ensuring the best value for money is achieved while sourcing partners and delivering sourcing projects.
Your responsibilities:
- Providing support to the team to achieve project activities including the initiation, planning and strategy, market approach, evaluation, negotiation and contract formation and contract execution
- Maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure the understanding of internal requirements
- Understanding how changes impact the Partner’s contracts, statement of requirements and sourcing options from a commercial, legal and probity perspective
- Assisting with the review of contract terms to align with legislative changes, policy updates, practice improvement or changing organisational priorities
- Ensuring compliance in-line with legislation and regulatory requirementsYour background:
- APS 5: Demonstrated experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or contract management within the Public Sector
- APS 6: Extensive leadership experience in a procurement, strategic sourcing or contract management role as well as hold a relevant business, accounting, legal or commerce degree qualification
- Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing methodologies
- Successful candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and accountability attitude
- Ability to meet challenging and conflicting deadlines
