Do you love the water? Do you have daytime availability? East YMCA is looking for a daytime water aerobics instructor. Current open class is an Aqua Blast format on Friday mornings at 9am, but open to discuss other formats.

POSITION SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Instructor certification preferred

• Provides high quality, safe and motivating instruction; provides adaptations based on individual needs.
• Increases member retention by providing personalized member experiences and building positive relationships with and among members, staff, volunteers and/or guests. Creates a supportive and uplifting community environment.
• Facilitates the development of small communities, helping members to connect with other members.
• Works well independently and on a team.
• Ensures the safety of all members and guests.
• Be available to support fellow instructors by subbing where possible. Teaching is available in all 3 locations.
