Description Aqua Runner (Server Assistant) At Boar’s Head Resort, the Aqua Runner (Server Assistant) plays a key supporting role in delivering an exceptional poolside guest experience. This position ensures seamless service by assisting servers, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and anticipating guest needs in a fast-paced, outdoor setting. The ideal candidate is energetic, attentive, and thrives in a team-oriented, hospitality-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Support Aqua Servers by delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of poolside service areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations Assist with setting up and breaking down poolside service areas before and after shifts Refill water, clear tables, and reset guest areas promptly Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure accurate and efficient service Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive support to enhance the overall experience Follow all safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of food and beverages Maintain awareness of pool safety guidelines and report any concerns to leadership Requirements Qualifications Previous hospitality or food & beverage experience preferred, but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment in varying weather conditions Strong communication and teamwork skills Positive attitude with a guest-first mindset Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak season hours Work Environment Outdoor, poolside setting with exposure to heat, sun, and varying weather conditions Physically active role requiring standing, walking, lifting, and carrying items throughout the shift Why Join Us At Boar’s Head Resort, we are committed to delivering a Forbes-level experience—not only to our guests, but to our team.
