QUALIFICATIONS
The incumbent must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of 4 years of experience in an aquatic facility. A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in the aquatic field is required. The successful candidate must demonstrate innovative thinking and creativity in the development of aquatic programming, have working knowledge of healthsafety policies and practices, have experience with a registration and booking software and scheduling application, and possess the ability to perform independently.

The incumbent must be able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings and weekends
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Aquatic Program Supervisor is responsible for the programs and operation of Aquatic Services. The position is also responsible for the development, scheduling, and supervision of all aquatic program staff, including lifeguards, instructors, assistant lifeguards and amenity attendants. They will ensure that the overall operation of aquatic programming is evaluated and make recommendations to the Program Manager for changes and improvements. There is a requirement for the incumbent to respond to emergencies after hours and to be on call at designated times.
