About the role You are an experienced aquatic professional who combines strong leadership with hands-on operational knowledge. You are confident supervising teams, maintaining pool plant systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and water quality standards. With a proactive mindset and a customer-first approach, you build positive relationships, respond calmly under pressure, and take pride in creating a safe, welcoming environment for all patrons. You are organised, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement and staff development. Key responsibilities include: * Support the Aquatic Operations Coordinator in the daily management of aquatic facilities, including supervision, safety, maintenance, and customer service * Lead, coach, and supervise lifeguard staff to deliver high-quality, consistent service and ensure compliance with procedures * Perform lifeguard and senior lifeguard duties, responding to incidents effectively * Monitor and maintain pool plant operations, including water quality, chemical dosing, and backwashing * Ensure all aquatic areas, equipment, and surrounds are safe, clean, and well-maintained * Assist with staff rostering, training, performance feedback, and ongoing development   About you You will have proven experience in aquatic operations and team leadership, with strong knowledge of pool plant systems and safety standards. You bring excellent communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence. You work well both independently and as part of a team, lead by example, and foster a positive, compliant, and safety-focused workplace culture.
