About the role In this role you will support the Assistant Manager – Leisurelink and Kardinia to deliver safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations across outdoor pool facilities. You’ll lead a team of lifeguards, oversee day-to-day pool operations, and ensure facilities meet safety, water quality, and service standards. Working both on deck and behind the scenes, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a positive environment for staff and patrons while contributing to the overall success of aquatic services. Key responsibilities include: * Supervise and lead lifeguard teams to deliver high-quality customer service and safe aquatic environments * Assist with daily operations including pool plant maintenance, water quality management, and facility upkeep * Perform Shift Supervisor, Customer Service and Lifeguard duties as required * Support staff rostering, training, and ongoing development * Ensure compliance with health regulations, OHS policies, and organisational procedures * Respond to operational needs, incidents, and customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner   About you To be successful in this role you will have strong experience in aquatic operations and customer service, with proven leadership capability in a supervisory environment. You bring sound knowledge of pool plant systems and water quality management, along with the ability to plan, implement, and improve operational procedures. You are a confident communicator who builds positive relationships with staff and patrons, and you are committed to delivering excellent customer service. With solid computer skills and a proactive approach to safety and teamwork, you thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and can effectively balance operational responsibilities with team leadership.
