Did you know we have over 6000 swimmers per week on our KAL Learn 2 Swim programme. As our programme grows we need our workforce to do the same. We are now recruiting for a Aquatic and Activity Activator.

We have over 3 million visits per year with an annual turnover more than £15m, with over 17,000 members and over 6,000 people on swimming lessons.

REQUIREMENTS OF AQUATIC AND ACTIVITY ACTIVATOR

  • Hold the Swim England (STA) Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification or equivalent ie STA, which would require internal training and RPL during the first 6 months
  • Hold the RLSS National Pool Lifeguard or the ability to complete within the first 3 months of employment
  • Flexibility with working hours (daytime, evenings and weekends are a must)
  • A minimum of 6 months’ experience of working or volunteering in aquatics & activity

RESPONSIBILITIES OF AQUATIC AND ACTIVITY ACTIVATOR

  • Deliver high quality sessions in accordance with the Swim England Learn to Swim/School Swimming Charter Scheme, ensuring that all customers have a great experience.
  • Ensure that parents/teachers are aware of children’s progression through the Aquatic Pathway by the effective use of KAL’s recording systems.
