Target opening date is late April 2026 (exact location TBD) with this position hired and onboarded in mid-March. Required training (paid for): ~40 hours of online training + in-person (hours & travel paid for). The Position: The Aquatics Manager position with British Swim School is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the aquatics program and assists with / leads customer service interactions. Priorities include ensuring the British Swim School program is delivered according to brand and safety standards, instructor team management, initial and ongoing swim instructor training, customer conversations as well as teaching lessons when and if necessary. This position will also require due diligence with tracking required certifications for instructors as well as continuing the employee's development and competency and skills. Your Typical Responsibilities: Manage swim instructors to maintain a smooth execution of daily aquatics and service operations. Assist with interviewing, hiring & onboarding swim instructors. Creation of employee schedules, and pool lesson schedules. Address and document employee, customer, and pool incidents that occur. Teach and lead swimming lessons as needed. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office / similar functional products. Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of customer service and/or management experience. Experience in swimming and fitness teaching/management is preferred. A specialist aquatics qualification is desirable, but not required. Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid Certifications, may be obtained during training.
