HugglePets is a Pet Reptile and Aquatics Store.
We are a family-owned business and we are passionate about creating an environment that enables people to succeed in their roles.
Our store in Wolverhampton features livestock and supplies for all pets including Reptiles, Aquaria and Small animals.
We launched a Non for Profit called HugglePets in the Community which runs separately from our Commercial business, to help people with their mental wellbeing. We were recently visited by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as recognition of the good work we have been doing in our local community. This makes us very proud, and we are determined to do as much as we can to continue helping people.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £6.40-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 30 per week

This exciting role will be based in our store at HugglePets, Cooper Street, Wolverhampton WV2 2JL.
This will be to join our existing team and work in store, caring for livestock, stocking up the store, serving customers, amongst other tasks. The role would include helping customers in-store and on the phone with any questions they may have. You will also need to be capable of keeping documentation that relates to suppliers’ orders and animal welfare.
There will also be an opportunity to take part in our community work. This would involve being an animal handler in our sessions with participants of our mental wellbeing sessions.
This position is for experienced pet store workers only with a strong knowledge of Aquatics. We would expect the successful candidate to have 3 years of full-time experience in a similar environment and have relevant skills and certification.

Info about the Job

• 4-30 hours per week, Dependant on experience and competency. Opportunity for Overtime and extra shifts
• Weekday and Weekend Shifts.
• Store opening hours 8.30 -5pm Monday to Friday, 9am -5pm Saturday.
