JOB SUMMARY

  • This is an on-site position
    We are seeking a qualified and passionate individual to join our team as an Aquatic Training Instructor. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Aquatic training courses, ensuring participants acquire the necessary skills to ensure water safety. As an Aquatic Training Instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of Aquatic staff by providing engaging and informative instruction on water rescue techniques, CPR, first aid, and AED usage.
    You’ll be tasked with leading hands-on and classroom sessions, evaluating participants’ progress, and cultivating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for learning. The ideal candidate should possess a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor certification, along with certifications in lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid. Strong communication, adaptability, and leadership skills are essential to excel in this role.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Prefer knowledge of and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.). Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
  • Understanding of local and state regulations and experience working with regulatory agencies.
