Description

Job purpose The AR/Billing Specialist is responsible for invoicing, collections, and cash application, with a strong focus on construction billing practices including AIA documentation and progress billing. Essential responsibilities and accountabilities: * Prepare and submit invoices (progress, T&M, milestone billing) * Complete and manage AIA billing (G702/G703) * Track retainage and contract billing requirements * Ensure all supporting documentation is included with invoices * Monitor AR aging and follow up on past-due accounts * Apply cash receipts and reconcile AR balances * Work with project managers to resolve billing issues * Maintain accurate billing records in the system * Assist with lien waivers and compliance documentation * Adhere to all company safety requirements. * Perform other duties as may be assigned. * Regular and prompt attendance and punctuality. * Working long hours may be required to meet business needs and is considered an essential function of this position.
