WHO WE ARE The Colorado Floor Company has served Colorado home builders and families since 1988. We provide cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, stairs, trim, doors and window coverings for production, semi-custom, custom home builders and general contractors.    SUMMARY OF POSITION The position of Accounting Specialist is vital to the company’s mission and as such requires a high level of commitment and attention to detail. The position assists upper-level management and oversees the accounting and business development team to ensure a productive workflow within the department.   PAY RANGE: $57,000-$58,000   PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Weekly AR tasks for gathering pricing, invoicing customers, posting to software, collections * AR responsibilities divided among teams by customer type and processes * Monthly reconcile AR receipts and aging * Weekly AP tasks for approving pricing, posting to software, vendor and subcontractor payments * AP responsibilities divided among teams by vendor type and processes * Monthly reconcile AP payments and aging * Monthly reconcile bank and credit card accounts * Support all monthly accounting close processes * Ensure accuracy for all jobs internally posted to calendar software * Coordinate bid processes with business development team * Set up bid templates in Excel based on customer and project * Support business development team through bid process * Provide Excel support for business development, operations, and admin team * Assist with new customers and subdivision set up across business development * Coordinate monthly employee newsletter and employee appreciation events * Other duties as assigned.
