AR-Staff Accountant

We’re seeking a Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant for a temporary-to-hire opportunity with a mission-driven organization. Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As an AR-Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in managing the organization’s financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across various functions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing daily cash receipts, coding transactions, and making bank deposits.
  • Managing Salesforce donation batches to ensure proper income classification.
  • Assisting with month-end close, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Supporting audit preparation, year-end processing, and filing reports such as 1099s.
  • Preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger and subsidiary ledgers in Sage Intacct.
  • Managing vendor records and ensuring compliance with property tax and sales tax filings.
  • Cross-training with other accounting team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assisting with financial reporting, analysis, and other projects as needed.
