JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Arabic Chef specializing in Levantine cuisine to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of traditional Levantine dishes and cooking techniques, with a strong passion for delivering authentic flavors and high-quality dishes. This role requires creativity, leadership, and the ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a chef specializing in Levantine or Arabic cuisine (minimum 3–5 years).
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Levantine cooking techniques, ingredients, and traditional recipes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present authentic Levantine dishes, including but not limited to hummus, kibbeh, tabbouleh, manakeesh, grilled meats, and mezzes.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design and update the Levantine menu.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory, order ingredients, and ensure cost-effective kitchen operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Monitor portion control and minimize food waste.
  • Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and customer preferences within Arabic and Levantine cuisines.
