Responsibilities

The ENTERTAINER is seeking a talented and versatile Arabic Copywriter to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating compelling and engaging copy across all of our customer-facing channels, including emails, social media, website and in-app content. We’re looking for a creative wordsmith who can capture the ENTERTAINER’s unique tone of voice and really connect with our Arabic-speaking audience across the UAE, Qatar, Saudi, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait.

As a Arabic Copywriter you will

  • Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread high-quality copy in Arabic for a variety of marketing and communication materials. This includes email campaigns, social media posts, in-app messaging, push notifications, and website content.
  • Brand Voice: Ensure all Arabic content aligns with the ENTERTAINER’s brand guidelines and a fun, engaging tone of voice. Opportunity to set the Arabic TOV across the business.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, design, and product teams to develop and execute creative campaigns and content strategies.
  • Arabisation of Rules of Use & FAQs: Translate and adapt complex information, such as Rules of Use and FAQs, into clear, simple, and user-friendly Arabic copy.
  • Localisation: Adapt global campaigns and concepts for the local market, ensuring cultural relevance and impact.
  • Performance: Monitor the performance of your copy and use data to refine and improve future content.
  • Review & Sign-off: Review all Arabic collateral before sign-off.

What we’re looking for

  • Native Arabic speaker with exceptional writing, translation and editing skills.
  • Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances of the Arabic language.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (CRM, social media, paid media).
  • 5+ years of experience as a copywriter, content creator, or a similar role, preferably within the digital or e-commerce space.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent project management skills – able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A portfolio showcasing your creative and professional writing samples in Arabic.
  • Knowledge of the ENTERTAINER brand and products is a plus.
