Key Responsibilities

Legal Strategy and Management:

  • Develop and implement the organization’s legal strategy to align with business goals and objectives.
  • Provide expert legal advice to senior management and the board of directors on legal and regulatory matters.
  • Identify potential legal risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect the organization.
  1. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
  • Ensure the organization complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory environments, advising on their impact and implementing necessary changes.
  • Oversee corporate governance matters, including compliance with board and shareholder regulations.
  1. Contract Management:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate high-value contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the organization’s interests.
  • Oversee the management of contracts across all business units, ensuring compliance with terms and minimizing risks.
  1. Dispute Resolution and Litigation:
  • Represent the organization in legal proceedings, disputes, and negotiations.
  • Manage relationships with external law firms and oversee litigation strategies to ensure favorable outcomes.
  1. Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and manage the legal department, ensuring high performance, professional development, and adherence to organizational goals.
  • Provide training and mentorship to internal teams on legal and compliance matters.
  1. Risk Management:
  • Develop and implement policies to mitigate legal, financial, and reputational risks.
  • Work closely with internal teams to establish risk management processes and ensure adherence to organizational policies.
  1. Corporate Transactions:
  • Oversee legal aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with due diligence and regulatory requirements during corporate transactions.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Act as the primary legal representative for the organization with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, partners, and clients.
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., HR, Finance, Compliance) to provide legal support and guidance.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) is mandatory; a Master’s degree (LLM) or a professional qualification (e.g., Bar admission, corporate governance certification) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10–15 years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior role. o Strong expertise in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and contract law.
  • Experience in managing legal issues in sectors like finance, technology, real estate, or others relevant to the organization.
  • Skills:
  • In-depth understanding of legal frameworks, risk management, and corporate governance.
  • Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED23,000.00 - AED44,000.00 per mont
