THE OPPORTUNITY

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Singapore is offering paid internship opportunities to law students as well as graduate and post-graduate students who are interested in getting first-hand experience in a leading international arbitration practice in Asia.
You will work alongside our partners and associates on tasks and projects for our clients, giving you a chance to gain a real insight into the depth and breadth of our practice areas.
We are looking for self-motivated individuals with outstanding achievements in academic and extra-curricular activities. You should also be a team player with excellent organisation and communication skills.

In order to be eligible for our internship, you must:

  • currently be a law student or a recent law graduate. Priority will be given to students and graduates of the law faculties of the National University of Singapore and Singapore Management University, as well as returning Singaporean law students / graduates from approved US, UK, and Australian universities.
  • be able to live and work legally in Singapore (Herbert Smith Freehills will not be able to assist with or sponsor your application for a permit to live and work in Singapore. You may be able to apply for a Work Holiday Pass under the Work Holiday Programme in Singapore if you are an undergraduate or graduate of a university recognised by the governments in the respective countries: Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom or United States.)
  • commit to a minimum of 2 months of internship in order to maximise the benefits of this scheme. If for any reason you require any adjustments in order to be able to participate, please let us know in your application form.
