Description

Following internal changes, Secur-It Group Ltd are looking for a new CCTV Operator for our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) in Mansfield Woodhouse, NG19 9BG.
This role is full time, with a guarantee of 42 hours per week.
As the Alarm Receiving Centre operates 365 days per year, 24 hours per day, the role will involve a mix of day, night, weekend, and bank holiday shift work.
The successful candidate will be based in our state-of-the-art ARC in the Mansfield Woodhouse area. Training and licensing can be provided for the right candidate, so experience is not necessary, however strong reliability, enthusiasm and strong attention to detail will be essential. We welcome applicants from customer service backgrounds and from other non-security fields.

The Role:

  • Monitoring of live and alarmed camera systems
  • Following standard operating procedures to dispatch the appropriate response.
  • Liaising with third parties such as site owners, Police, partner security firms & other official bodies
  • Creation of incident reports to provide a full account of any occurrences on our customers’ property.
  • Responding to incoming alarms
  • Booking security guards onto site
  • Carrying out welfare checks
  • Dealing with incoming calls from guards, security companies and clients
  • Using IT systems to record details and conversations accurately and promptly.
  • Shift pattern is a mixture of days, nights, and weekends over an average of 42 hours per week.

The Candidate:

  • Strong previous experience of a customer service role, ideally telephone based.
  • A good standard of both written and spoken English is essential.
  • A strong, confident communicator who isn’t afraid to pick up a telephone and speak with clients or stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with use of IT applications/packages.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • A drive to learn and progress will be a strong benefit to the successful candidate.
  • Either in possession of or a willingness to obtain an SIA CCTV Licence
  • Able to reliably commute to Mansfield Woodhouse, NG19 9BG.

The successful candidate will be required to pass industry screening and a full 5-year work history will be required to carry this out, in accordance with industry standard regulation BS7858.
