This role requires the successful candidate to maintain a Working with Children Check The successful candidate can apply for the WWCC as part of the onboarding process. Responsibilities
  • Lead Innovative Research: Conduct high-quality research on Indigenous heritage conservation, risk analysis, and asset management.
  • Develop Practical Solutions: Create assessment tools and management strategies to address risks to remotely located Indigenous collections.
  • Collaborate with Indigenous Partners: Engage in two-way education practices with Indigenous communities to ensure culturally appropriate research outcomes.
  • Contribute to Academic Output: Publish research findings in academic papers and present at conferences and seminars.
  • Supervise and Mentor: Assist in co-supervising research higher degree students and contribute to the program’s vibrant research culture.
