Description Classification: non-exempt Full time: typical hours 7:30am-4pm; Monday-Friday; overtime as directed Salary/Wage: $16.50-17 DOE Reports to: Production Manager Summary: this position requires the assembly of full size, arcade games with small hand tools Industry leading, 40 year old Buffalo Area Manufacturing Company seeks candidate for production/assembler position. Duties/Responsibilities: - Assemble full size arcade games - Work with other team members to build games - Keeping work area tidy, neat and clean - Operate in a safe manner - Use reason to solve assembly problems and notify supervisor when necessary - Cooperate and assist teammates with similar duties Requirements Required Skills and Abilities: - Must be organized, proactive, have attention to details, and ability to multitask. - Must have experience using small hand tools and cordless drills, ratchets, and wrenches - Ability to exercise professional behavior - Excellent attendance history - Possess strong sense of urgency - Maintain high quality standards when assembling the games. Preferred Educational and Experience: - High School graduate or equivalent Physical Requirements: - Prolonged periods of walking and standing. - Working in a manufacturing setting with machinery and equipment. - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. - Able to bend, stretch, reach, push and pull parts and products. Ex: use of pallet jack and carts
