Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping our technical landscape? As an Archetype Solution Architect, you will be at the heart of our operations, working closely with the Archetype Lead and Global Business Process Owners (GBPOs). Your ability to communicate effectively in business language will be crucial as you collaborate with these key stakeholders to understand business unit strategies, address underlying challenges, and explain both standard and custom functions.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Archetype Lead to define optimal design options from A to Z
  • Leverage your communication skills and cultural sensitivity to engage with diverse stakeholders on both business and technical fronts
  • Utilize your technical expertise in SAP across all relevant modules to evaluate and recommend the best solutions for the archetype
  • Optionally, use Celonis to share insights on the current usage of S4, identify gaps, and assist GBPOs in understanding analysis and monitoring business improvements

Responsibilities:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the pipeline of key user and GBPO change requests, channeling them to the correct GBPOs for initial clarification
  • Prepare for archetype triage by organizing and conducting triage meetings with the Archetype Lead, GBPOs, and E2E Stream representatives
  • Identify involved End-to-End streams and gather feedback through E2E archetype SPOCs
  • Support GBPOs in writing business requirement specifications (user stories)
  • Collaborate with E2E stream archetype SPOCs to size and prepare for TCB, and prioritize change requests with GBPOs and the Archetype Lead
  • Propose improvements to the archetype process
  • Monitor and support the implementation, testing, and deployment of change requests relevant to the Archetype
  • Drive the quality of Archetype training documentation and the Business Process Master List (BPML), regularly reviewing and managing improvements with GBPOs
  • Suggest improvements to the Archetype Lead based on a comprehensive understanding of A toZ integration across streams
  • Participate in workshops and other activities to understand BU strategy, pain points, and priorities
  • Support GBPOs in explaining current functionality, S4 design principles, and design options
  • Explain S4 standard and custom functionality, and the A to Z impact of design options
  • Manage the Archetype triage process and explain the current usage of S4, identify gaps (using Celonis), and monitor improvements if requested by GBPO or Archetype Lead
  • Act as a speaking partner for Product Owners and Solution Architects on technical aspects of the Archetype
