Job Description Join AECOM’s Architecture & Design Team in Madrid AECOM Buildings + Places is seeking a talented and visionary Architect to join our dynamic Architecture & Design team in Madrid. This is your opportunity to shape the future of cities and communities through projects that combine creativity, sustainability, and cutting-edge technology. As part of our team, you will work on iconic and complex projects across Spain and internationally, collaborating with multidisciplinary experts in architecture, engineering, urban design, and sustainability. From concept to completion, you will be involved in the entire project lifecycle, contributing to solutions that leave a lasting impact. Why AECOM? You’ll join a global network of 2,500 architects and a local team recognized for excellence and creativity. What you’ll do: Develop architectural concepts and detailed designs for diverse projects. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and building systems to ensure design integrity. Apply sustainable principles and innovative solutions throughout the design process. Engage in design critiques, presentations, and client meetings. Contribute to projects that range from urban regeneration to state-of-the-art infrastructure. Qualifications Please, portfolio submission is mandatory along with your CV. What we’re looking for: Degree in Architecture and 5+ years of experience in local and international projects. Fluent English and Spanish (German is a plus). Strong design and graphic skills, proficiency in Revit and other design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Photoshop). Passion for architecture, sustainability, and collaborative work. Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
