OVERVIEW

The A&D Representative serves as a key connection between Centura and the Architecture & Design community in Alberta/Saskatchewan. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with architects and designers as well as contractors, end users and flooring stores while promoting our product for future projects. The A&D Representative plays a vital role in influencing product selection and driving brand awareness at multiple levels and channels to market.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 2 years in sales or similar experience role within the A&D industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel includes overnight stays as needed.
• Familiarity with design and software tools, is preferred.

EDUCATION

• Post secondary education is considered an asset.
  Car allowance and company cellphone will be provided.
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: $50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with architects, designers, and other decision makers in the A&D community, end users, contractors, and flooring dealers.
• Presenting and promoting company products to the A&D community, contractors, flooring stores and trade shows
• Assisting architects and designers in selecting the products for their projects by providing samples and product specifications.
• Maintaining up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of Centura’s product offerings and researching industry trends to provide the best advice.
• Staying up to date on market trends.
• Working knowledge of competitive suppliers and products.
• Providing product knowledge sessions and technical support to designers and architects.
• Working closely with sales, marketing, and purchasing teams to ensure alignment of products based on current and future trends, along with product training as needed.
• Ensuring a smooth process from presentation to completion of projects.
• Tracking jobs from presentation to completion.
• Travelling approximately once a month to visit A&D clients in both Saskatchewan and Alberta
