ARCHITECT & DESIGN CONSULTANT

At Crown Paints, we’re looking for an Architect & Design Consultant to join our South East team. This role, based in London, is all about establishing and deepening our presence in the architect and design (A&D) community – helping us become specified in projects right from the design stage.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who is curious, approachable, and passionate about design. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• Background, experience or study in architecture, interior design, colour, paint, lighting, flooring…. we are open! – or strong knowledge of the specification process.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to engage large audiences confidently.
• The ability to balance relationship-building and hitting KPIs and set targets
• Self-motivation to manage your pipeline and contribute to doubling Crown’s specification presence in the region.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

In this role, you’ll spend your time connecting with architects and designers, supporting their projects, and showcasing the value Crown Paints can bring.

You will:

• Generate, build and nurture relationships with key contacts across architecture and design practices (from junior designers to senior decision-makers).
• Compile a database of the key construction projects within your area, identify key players/decision makers and key A&D clients to target
• Manage your own pipeline, using CRM to track opportunities and implement strategies to double specification activity in the coming years.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to stay up-to-date with new trends and products in the market
• Collaborate with internal marketing, account managers, and contractors to ensure projects are followed through from design to delivery.
