JOB DESCRIPTION:
This job is responsible for defining an architectural vision and solution aligned to the enterprise architecture strategy, technology, and platform choices. Key responsibilities include describing the solution intent/associated operating environment, evaluating system impacts, determining the primary systems/sub-systems and their interfaces, and assisting with end-to-end solution design. Job expectations include defining non-functional requirements/architectural runway to support new epics/features and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose by working with stakeholders and service providers.
The role of Architect for the Payments domain within the AES organization, involves the creation and maintenance of target application architecture strategy and roadmaps as defined in Blueprints along with creation of designs demonstrating the execution against this strategy. A resource in this role works with partners from the CIO organization to help define the direction of CBWT architecture for the next decade, adherence to and creation of enterprise principles and standards based on industry best practices and offering technical guidance on technical standards. The individual collaborates and influences Tech Leads and Architects across CBWT and the broader Enterprise. In an Architect role within AES supporting the Payments domain should:
