SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS

  • A professional, accredited degree in Architecture is preferred, along with 10+ years’ experience and professional registration.

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE + THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Architect, you will join the firm at our Cincinnati, OH office and be responsible for leading the projects from design through construction to successful completion in our Workplace division. Your work will require you to have highly developed expertise in project management, architectural design, and technical knowledge. This management-level role provides the opportunity to pursue professional growth while contributing to one of the Midwest’s largest workplace design teams.

THE ROLE PRIORITIES

  • Manage the clients, project staff, and consultants through the project process on multiple complex projects.
  • Utilize operational management tools, including workload forecasting, resource planning, and project team development.
  • Manage and develop project documents as per client, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including identifying and recruiting high-quality staff with leadership potential.
  • Create and foster relationships with key clients while managing client expectations.
  • Maintain project budgets to ensure profitability.
  • Apply interpersonal communication skills to build strong working relationships, resolve conflicts, and motivate the project team.
  • Collaborate across other disciplines with internal and external team members.
  • Promote a workplace culture that is consistent with the BHDP Collective Ambition.
