ARCHITECT/ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT CAPTAIN

Architectural firm in downtown Massillon, Ohio seeking an Architect/Construction Document Technician to join our team! You will team in the production of architectural construction documents. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience is required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in architectural construction document production
• Strong AutoCAD skills required
• Sketchup is a plus, but not required
• Strong leadership qualities
• Deadline and detail-oriented

• Coordination of all work produced by and scheduling of consulting engineers
• Read/interpret, architectural, civil, structural, mechanical/plumbing and electrical drawings to develop a working set of documents Including picking up redlines and corrections to drawing sets
• Accurately measure and document spaces and draw up existing conditions in AutoCAD
• Research products and building materials and apply the information found in a set of construction documents
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
