WHO WE NEED

We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Architect in the Architectural Group at our Endwell, NY office. The Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture with 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s Degree in Architecture with 15 years of relevant experience. Experience with Revit is required, experience with AutoCAD and Lumion is highly preferred. An RA License is required. The primary duties associated with this position include:

  • Assisting the Project Architect with client/project coordination; project management.
  • Coordinating construction document preparation with supervision by the Project Manager. This will include analyzing building/zoning code; outlining document contents with half-size sets and specification outline; continually reviewing compliance with design intent, use of materials, and coordination with specifications; reviewing the work of consultants for coordination purposes; reviewing documents with building inspectors; responding to bid inquiries regarding pre-bid approvals; and preparing contract document agenda.
  • Providing assistance in construction administration with the supervision of the Project Manager. This will include reporting on progress meetings; maintaining project status manual; preparing project correspondence; conducting on-site observations; preparing observation reports; providing additional services such as proposal requests, change orders or revisions to project scope; and reviewing submittals.
  • Assisting with project close-out efforts including punch lists.
  • Meeting with governmental agencies or officials for purposes of approvals and permits.
