POSITION OVERVIEW

A well-established and successful Architectural/Engineering firm is seeking an experienced Architect to join its team in Columbus, Ohio. The firm serves a wide range of public and private sector clients and is supported by a multidisciplinary staff that includes architects, engineers (structural, civil, mechanical, electrical), and construction professionals.
This role offers the opportunity to lead projects through the entire construction life cycle—from initial design to final delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Registered Architect (RA) license preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of architectural design experience
  • Demonstrated experience on public sector projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • In-depth understanding of State of Ohio design standards and building codes
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive QA/QC and constructability reviews
  • Experience with Construction Administration is a plus

Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams and facilitate client meetings
  • Develop construction documents and manage project phases
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
  • Perform QA/QC and constructability reviews
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, clients, and contractors
