Under the direction of the General Manager, the Architect will support our client’s building envelope and architectural design projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing architectural drawings, and collaborating with project teams to ensure high-quality design execution. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and strong knowledge of building codes and construction methods.

REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
· Licensed Architect with OAA.
· 5+ years of experience in architectural design.
· Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software.
· Familiarity with Ontario Building Code and construction detailing.
· Excellent design, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

· Develop conceptual and detailed architectural designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
· Prepare architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation.
· Collaborate with engineers, consultants, clients, and junior team members to ensure project success.
· Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate existing conditions and project feasibility.
· Ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code and applicable regulations.
· Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software to create accurate models and drawings.
· Assist in material selection and construction detailing.
· Participate in design reviews and client presentations.
