The project: This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project. You’ll be responsible for: Oversee the delivery of architectural sports packages, ensuring the general contractor’s proposals meet FIFA/UEFA, accessibility, and design intent requirements. Provide strategic direction to the construction supervision consultant (CSC) on quality, compliance, and integration of sports architecture elements, including spectator flow, sightlines, and safety. Review and challenge design changes, value engineering proposals, and material selections to ensure alignment with the client’s vision and operational needs. Facilitate coordination between the general contractor, CSC, and design consultants for timely resolution of technical queries and design clarifications. Escalate critical design, compliance, or integration issues to project leadership, ensuring robust documentation and communication. Prepare and present architectural package status reports to senior stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making. Ensure architectural elements reflect the intended user experience, operational functionality, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle. Engage with design teams, contractors, and consultants to maintain alignment on architectural goals and resolve emerging challenges collaboratively. You’ll need to have: Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval. Professional qualification (or equivalent). 15+ years of experience.
