Description
Overview SSOE Group is currently seeking a junior Architect to join our Mumbai India office. Working directly with US staff, this position will support a diverse portfolio including commercial, healthcare, education, and large-scale industrial and manufacturing projects. As part of an international design firm and working with a USA-based team, you will leverage Revit, and other modeling software to provide value based design for our world-class clients. Our Architects at SSOE are the creative drivers that work closely with our project teams, project managers and clients. From proposal throughout the design process and construction, to the close out and project completion, the Architectural team is key in keeping the client's scope in sight. At SSOE, our senior Architects are considered Subject Matter Experts, and help establish process, procedures, workflow along with mentoring and guiding the staff on projects. That is why we arm our employees with current relevant industry knowledge to keep our collaborative teams on the cutting edge of their discipline. Our company engages in a variety of industrial, distribution, commercial, food-processing, and manufacturing projects with a concentration on large scale industrial facilities across the North American and International markets. AI and Innovation As part of our commitment to innovation, all team members will be trained on Microsoft Copilot and empowered to use it as a core tool in their everyday work. Responsibilities The following duties are typical of the position but are not all-encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment. Support all phases of the architectural design process with various delivery methods. Apply academic knowledge and training in the use of various building materials and systems. Work under the direction of a project architect; receive specific and detailed instruction as to required tasks and desired results. Perform elementary architectural assignments, compile data, and conduct simple design studies. Draft own and others' designs into completed working drawings. Continually collaborate with on-site and remote staff including daily team check-ins and regular department and project-related meetings. Operate in an inter-disciplinary environment and be responsive to the needs of multiple people and projects. Qualifications In addition to competitive, market-based compensation, this role is eligible for a comprehensive total rewards package designed to support your career, well-being, and long-term success. What we bring: Salary Range: 5 to 7 Lacs/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications directly related to the position. [This role is eligible for overtime or premium pay, employee-recognition programs, and additional annual incentive / discretionary bonuses, of which are based on company and individual performance and goals.] Benefits include health insurance, accidental death & disability, access to our Employee Assistance Program, and parental leave (paternity and maternity). SSOE contributes to statutory benefits programs that include gratuity and provident fund. Additional Perks Offered: Experience a collaborative, people-first culture where you’re not just a number—you’re a valued contributor. Enjoy work–life balance through flexible schedules, a hybrid work environment, generous PTO, and paid holidays designed to support your well‑being. [This role is eligible for PTO carry-over, compensatory offs, leave donation, the possibility for international travel, and flextime shifts to choose from in order to lessen the burden of the rush-hour traffic in Mumbai.] Build direct relationships with leadership through regular access, open communication channels, and structured mentorship that supports both technical and professional growth. Engage in company‑funded, employee‑led clubs that strengthen connection, community, and cross‑team collaboration—creating a supportive workplace that extends beyond project work. Being part of a diverse team, you'll embark on thrilling projects from inception to completion and engage directly with some of the most innovative clients globally across industries and geographies—helping insulate your career from economic shifts while continuously building new skills. Embrace a culture of perpetual learning where curiosity is celebrated, innovative ideas are welcomed, educational achievement is monetarily awarded, and your career growth aspirations are fully supported with professional development, training, and resources you need to advance. [This role is eligible for educational, licensure, and certification reimbursement.] Who We Need: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture with at least 2 years of experience in architecture design. Desire to display and develop skills and initiative through problem-solving, strategic thinking, and discovering solutions. Ability to communicate digitally, verbally, and in writing with local and international team members- fluency in English is required.
