We are seeking a talented and innovative Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architectural design and project management, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. This role involves collaborating with clients, engineers, and construction teams to bring architectural visions to life while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Proven experience in architectural design, drafting, and project management.
  • Proficiency in CAD software
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts effectively.
  • Familiarity with construction estimating practices and budgeting techniques.
  • Experience in business development within the architecture or construction industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling tools and methodologies is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

    Job Types: Part-time, Contract
    Pay: $52.23 - $62.90 per hour
    Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
    Work Location: Hybrid remote in Schaumburg, IL 6017

Responsibilities
  • Develop and present architectural designs that meet client specifications and project requirements.
  • Must have experience or ability to deal with healthcare / hospital related requirements for state approval: Life Safety Plan & IDPH submission. egress, fire separations, smoke compartments. code compliance letter reference FGI 2022+NFPA 101. IDPH submission package.
  • Coordinate with construction management teams to oversee on-site activities and resolve any issues that arise.
