SNHA, A Woolpert Company is hiring a Project Architect to join our dynamic Buildings Team at our Johannesburg, South Africa office. This position reports to the Regional Team Leader and is responsible for leading a team in the development and delivery of all project deliverables. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 6 years related experience. Priority will be given to candidates who are SACAP registered.
We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.
Responsibilities:

As a Architect at Woolpert, you will:

• Lead a team in the development and delivery of all project deliverables, from concept through completion, and will also see the project through construction and close out.
• Work in tandem with the firm leaders and Project Lead as well as an interdisciplinary team of partners to deliver high performing, complex, and challenging projects for some of the world’s largest technology clients.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 6 years related experience.
• Candidates must have an Architectural Qualification.
• Must possess strong design, execution, and problem-solving skills with experience on complex projects.
• Commitment to staying informed on the latest architectural technologies, materials, and sustainability practices.
• Candidates must have proficiency in the use of Autodesk Revit for project development and BIM proficiency can be an advantage.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) as well as Blue Beam.
• Candidates should also have strong digital modeling skills and possess well-developed organization as well as strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• It is desired that the candidate should be SACAP registered.
