Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Architectural Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of architectural projects to ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and design specifications. You will play a critical role in maintaining quality assurance across all construction phases and ensuring that projects meet regulatory requirements and client expectations. Conduct thorough inspections of architectural structures, components, and systems at various construction phases Analyze building designs and construction work against applicable building codes, Saudi Building Code standards, and architectural specifications Document inspection findings, deficiencies, and non-conformances in detailed reports with photographic evidence Verify compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality assurance protocols Communicate inspection results and recommendations to project managers, contractors, and stakeholders Identify potential structural, safety, or design issues and recommend corrective actions Maintain organized records of all inspection activities, reports, and follow-up actions Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to resolve compliance issues Perform site visits and walkthroughs to assess project progress and quality standards Prepare comprehensive inspection reports that clearly outline findings, observations, and required remedial measures Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Professional certification as a Certified Building Inspector (CBI) or equivalent credential Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural inspection, quality assurance, or construction oversight Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and Saudi Building Code regulations Strong analytical and problem-solving skill set with the ability to identify code violations and design discrepancies Proficiency in inspection documentation, report writing, and technical communication Familiarity with construction materials, building systems, and architectural specifications Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple inspection projects simultaneously Proficiency in inspection software and digital documentation tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of local Saudi Arabian building regulations and construction practices Valid driver's license and willingness to conduct frequent site visits Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
