Description:
Excela Architecture Cheshire is a Multi Award-Winning Residential Architectural Design Practice based in Cheshire.
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Architectural Assistant / Architectural Technician with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in delivering high quality residential projects, interfacing with clients and contractors. The main software used in the practice is Autodesk Revit therefore, to be considered for the position it is essential you have considerable experience with this software.
As an Architectural Assistant / Architectural Technician at Excela Architecture Cheshire, your role will involve working with clients to produce small residential schemes, such as Home extensions and Loft conversions between both our Cheshire office and our London Office.
The successful candidate will have an excellent eye for detail, with a forward-thinking approach to design and must be able to manage multiple small scheme projects.
Experience of 3D laser scanning for measured building surveys would be an advantage.
Currently this is a remote working role and we will consider full time and part time applicants.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Excellent communicator of ideas and views.
- Must be able to model Revit projects from a Point Cloud.
- Industry experience in the UK is a must.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage workload to achieve project deadlines.
- Proficient in Revit.
- Experience with Stage 4 Technical Design building regulations drawings.
- You will need a sound understanding of UK Building Regulations and the Planning Process.
- Very well organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A minimum of 2 years UK experience of residential architectural design.
- Be able to produce high quality drawings for planning applications.
Responsibilities:
- Confidence and ability to produce residential schemes.
- Producing concept design plans to the client’s briefs.
- Creation of Revit models from concept through to production of information stages.
- Monitor assigned projects on the project management system.
- Experience in Architectural rendering and post-production is a bonus.
- Advise clients on design alterations.
This is a full-time position, starting immediately.
The position available is for a Remote Working Position and must be based in the UK.
